CONSTRUCTION of the fifth Center Parcs holiday park is set to begin next year, bosses revealed this week.
Plans to open the new holiday village at Warren Wood in Millbrook have now moved a step closer to completion, after Center Parcs completed all of its planning conditions, including building a brand new roundabout in Millbrook to improve access.
The company is currently going through the tendering process to find a construction firm to award the lucrative contract to.
Public relations manager at Center Parcs Simon Kay said: “We have now completed everything we needed to do prior to completion, which we are delighted with.
“We have transformed what was a very bad junction into a brand new roundabout on the A507 at Millbrook, built right of way footpaths and there is a brand new cycle route.
