Centre Parcs: Come and join generation wheeeeeeee

As I stood at the top of a 60ft ­platform, ready to step off into fresh air, I ­wondered how on Earth I had got myself into this.
Tackling the Aerial Adventure, a series of obstacles that gradually got higher and higher, had seemed like a good idea when we booked our ­family trip to Center Parcs.
My daredevil younger daughter Lydia, 10, was keen and I figured what’s the worst that could happen?
As we made our way round on rope swings and wooden bridges all seemed fine... until we reached the final ­platform.
Now normally you would have the option of a zip wire, or the much more scary proposition of stepping off and putting your life in the hands of a bunch of pulleys.
