Mouth-watering changes at Woburn Forest

You’ll all be familiar with our Canopy Café and Bar in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and Dexters Kitchen across all our villages but at Woburn Forest, we are rolling out two new exciting eateries to grab a bite in their place.

Leon

Leon will be opening on 13 July as the home of ‘naturally fast food’ with Dexters Kitchen closing its doors for the last time earlier this month.

Open from 8am until 9pm in the Village Square, Leon will be serving up the flavours of the Mediterranean seven days a week. Start the day with a Flat White and The Big Breakfast Box, refuel at lunch with the Brazilian Black Bean hot box or a Chargrilled Chicken Burger and or grab some Leon Baked Fries as a late-night snack.

Monty’s Dogs and Cones

Swim up an appetite in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and get your tastebuds tingling with the delicious new offerings that Monty’s Dogs and Cones bring to poolside dining. Replacing Canopy Café and Bar from 6 July Monty’s Dogs and Cones will serve up a range from loaded hot dogs and nachos to churros and ice-creams for those with a sweet tooth.

For eating at any time of day with food served from 11am to 8.30pm, so whether you top up your hot dog or have your ice-cream in a Millie’s Cookie sandwich, Monty’s Dogs and Cones has something for everyone.

Open from 10am to 9pm at Woburn Forest Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

There’s no need to book either of these exclusive new restaurants, just turn up with your appetite.

Lange verblijven nu online boekbaar!

Het is nu mogelijk om Online verblijven voor de zomer langer dan een week te boeken: 10, 11 en 14 dagen.

Voorheen waren deze verblijven alleen via het call center te boeken.

 

VisitEngland gives Center Parcs UK five stars

All five Center Parcs UK villages have retained their Five Star status from VisitEngland, following the recent annual assessments.

The five UK sites achieved scores between 90 and 98 in the latest assessment, rating them as 'Excellent' under the VisitEngland criteria. Within the assessment, each part of the village is thoroughly inspected, from the quality of accommodation, food and activities to the ease of booking and level of service provided.

Center Parcs UK prides itself on its high quality accommodation, activities and restaurants, with last year seeing the biggest reinvestment to date, with around £80 million spent on new build accommodation, refurbishments and upgrades across the five sites.

Operations Director Alan Park said;

"We're delighted that all five of our villages have yet again been awarded Five Stars from VisitEngland. Center Parcs UK works hard to ensure that our villages are maintained to a high standard and we continually reinvest to add new things, ensuring there is something new each time for returning guests. Getting this recognition from VisitEngland is a testament to the teams on villages and the excellent service they deliver to our guests all year round."

The VisitEngland assessors commented on the continued maintenance and development of all Center Parcs villages, staff being very friendly and helpful, high levels of cleanliness across all areas and the environments being litter-free.

Niet 1, 2, maar Center Parcs is 3 keer genomineerd voor de Kids PretparkTip! Keurmerk 2018, de nominatie voor de top 10 pretparkvakanties van Nederland. Zowel de pretparken als de accommodaties zijn voor de nominaties beoordeeld op de aanwezige kidsfaciliteiten.

Low Car Diet succes; Center Parcs wint

Meer dan 1400 werknemers van 15 bedrijven deden tussen 14 mei en 14 juni mee aan de Low Car Diet-campagne. Center Parcs is winnaar geworden en bespaarde 13,9 ton CO2 door 77 procent minder autokilometers te maken. Khaled Mustafa heeft als individu de meeste punten verdiend door voor 73 procent van zijn 4960 afgelegde kilometers het OV te gebruiken.

Low Car Diet (LCD) is een jaarlijkse mobiliteitswedstrijd waarin deelnemers een maand lang zo duurzaam mogelijk proberen te reizen. De organisatie is in handen van Stichting de Reisbeweging. LCD zet zeker zoden aan de dijk, bleek onlangs uit een rapport van het Centraal Planbureau. Deelnemers maken blijvend 35 procent minder autokilometers aan woon-werkverkeer. De resultaten van de LCD-campagne breder trekken is lastig, benadrukt het CPB.

Limburgse Peel in een nieuw jasje!

Heerlijk, zo'n verblijf in een vernieuwd park! 

In Limburgse Peel zijn alle cottages nu stuk voor stuk vernieuwd, van vloer tot plafond. De Market Dome is helemaal in het nieuw gestoken, met een bamboekoepel, eigentijdse supermarkt en Fashion Store, en vernieuwde restaurants: van Grand Café in VOC-stijl tot vakantiesnacks in Frites Affairs en het oneindige buffet in het Market Restaurant.
