Afgelopen woensdag werd op twitter bekend dat de David Milliband op vakantie is geweest naar een van de Franse Parken van Center Parcs. In zijn eigen blog geeft hij aan dat men wel vreemd keek toen hij vertelde dat hij naar Center Parcs is gegaan, maar hij gaf positief op over Center Parcs.
De Telegraph meldt: "But his decision to take his wife and two children to Center (CORR) Parcs in France appears to have led to unkind chortling amongst the former cabinet minister's friends. In a post on his website, Mr Miliband decried the "snobbery" that he faced when he announced that he had been to the holiday resort."
Ondanks het matige weer geeft Milliband aan "But the little cottage was fine (never had three showers in a two bedroom house before). And the boys had a really good time. They thought the swimming – sliding down chutes really – was ace. The bicycling was fun, the tree climbing a new adventure, and even the French entertainment, despite not understanding a word of the kid’s bingo, was a hit. "
