Center Parcs, one of Nottinghamshire's biggest companies, has applied for planning permission to update the spa facilities at its Sherwood Forest holiday village.
The company, which employs 200 staff at its headquarters in Ollerton and 1,500 staff at the Sherwood Forest site, has submitted plans to Newark and Sherwood District Council to extend and alter the Aqua Sana building.
The application seeks approval to create a number of new openings to the existing Aqua Sana building, along with creating a single storey "hideaway" extension, detached warming room, feature panoramic treetop sauna and the relocation of the existing Japanese foot spa.
