Reageer dan nu, want Center Parcs Port Zélande zoekt: Facilitair Manager Center Parcs Port Zélande Als Facilitair Manager geef je leiding en uitvoering aan de schoonmaak- en logistieke werkzaamheden van het park met als doel om alle 720 cottages, 3758 bedden en alle centrale gebouwen gereed te maken en te houden binnen de gestelde kwaliteitseisen. Jij zorgt ervoor dat onze gasten kunnen genieten van een geweldig verblijf en onbezorgd, samen met hun geliefden, nieuwe herinneringen maken! Om dit te realiseren draag jij er zorg voor dat de onder jou ressorterende afdelingen optimaal functioneren en juist op elkaar zijn afgestemd, operationele beleidsplannen worden gerealiseerd en dat dit binnen de financiële, kwalitatieve en sociale uitgangspunten gebeurd. Jij zorgt ervoor dat het budget van jouw afdeling wordt bewaakt en initieert budget- en investeringsvoorstellen voor een optimale gastbeleving. Je geeft leiding  en  bent verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van milieumaatregelen en adviseert het management team (on)gevraagd over schoonmaak- en logistiek gerelateerde kwesties. In de dagelijkse gang van zaken stel je de juiste prioriteiten en breng je structuur aan, maar deel je bovenal jouw kennis met jouw team om samen verder te groeien. Samen met jouw team realiseren jullie het beoogde resultaat. Je geeft leiding en coacht de twee Assistant Housekeeping en de Floor Manager Logistiek en geeft indirect leiding aan Floormanagers Wisselschoonmaak en Centrumschoonmaak. Zij sturen de operatie aan met een team van ongeveer 175-200 medewerkers.  Jij rapporteert direct aan de General Manager van het park. Wanneer ben jij de juiste kandidaat? Je beschikt over een bachelor diploma, bij voorkeur Hoge Hotelschool, Facility Management of gerelateerd. Je beschikt over een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal. Je hebt affiniteit met de hospitality branche en ervaring binnen een schoonmaakorganisatie of -afdeling. Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar leidinggevende ervaring met een vergelijkbare span of control binnen een commerciële omgeving. Binnen het Management Team van het park draai je mee in het Duty-rooster. Deze diensten zijn verdeeld over alle midweken en weekenden van het jaar. Veelal wordt dit gecombineerd als Quality Visit, waarbij overnachtingen worden gefaciliteerd mits de bezetting dat toelaat. Tot slot ben jij woonachtig op maximaal een uur reisafstand van Ouddorp en flexibel qua werkdagen en werktijden.

Hou je van verandering en uitdaging op alle niveaus? HR Business Partner Center Parcs Port Zélande (38 uur) Als HR Business Partner bekleed jij een belangrijke rol om onze organisatiedoelstellingen op het gebied van personeel te verwezenlijken. Je bent daarin een belangrijke partner voor de General Manager. Daarnaast zijn wij met veel meer projecten bezig, waaronder ons LEAN management project, waar jij een waardevolle bijdrage aan levert. Je geeft leiding, bent actief met operationele taken en adviseert het management team (on)gevraagd over het te voeren personeelsbeleid en andere vraagstukken. Als HR Business Partner maak je deel uit van ons management team en ben je specialist op het gebied van alle facetten rondom in- door- en uitstroom en trends binnen het vakgebied HR. Je past HR-instrumenten toe in onze commerciële omgeving waarbij je draagvlak creëert bij zowel het management als onze medewerkers. Daarnaast zie je toe op de waarborging van de (personeels-)kostenbeheersing en draag je bij aan de uitvoerende werkzaamheden binnen onze HR afdeling. In de dagelijkse gang van zaken stel je de juiste prioriteiten en breng je structuur aan, maar deel je bovenal jouw kennis met jouw team om samen verder te groeien. Natuurlijk doe je dit niet alleen en heb je een enthousiast team om het beoogde resultaat te realiseren. Je geeft leiding aan 2 HR Officers en rapporteert direct aan de General Manager van het park. Daarnaast rapporteer je aan de Deputy HR Director Europe via de Matrix-structuur van de organisatie. Het betreft een echte allround functie waarbij jij je bezig houdt met uiteenlopende onderwerpen als recruitment, employee journey, management development, verzuim en personeelsformatie. Mede middels Duty diensten heb je contact met de werkvloer. Wanneer ben jij de juiste kandidaat? Je beschikt over een bachelor diploma, bij voorkeur in Personeelszaken, HRM of gerelateerd. Je hebt affiniteit met de hospitality branche en brede kennis binnen het HR-vakgebied. Je hebt  minimaal 5 jaar leidinggevende ervaring met een vergelijkbare span of control binnen een commerciële omgeving. Je kunt duty-diensten draaien; wat betekent dat je gedurende weekenden, ongeveer één keer per 5 à 6 weken en gemiddeld twee late diensten per maand aanwezig bent op het park en fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor zowel gasten als medewerkers. Ook vallen feestdagen hieronder. Tot slot ben jij woonachtig op max. een uur reisafstand van Ouddorp en flexibel qua werkdagen en werktijden.

Junior HR Business Partner Als Junior HR Business Partner heb je een adviserende en ondersteunende rol richting ons management en onze medewerkers. Daarnaast ondersteun je jouw leidinggevende de Deputy HR Director Center Parcs Europe bij lopende zaken en diverse projecten. Het betreft een diverse functie waarbij je werkzaam bent op twee locaties, namelijk ons hoofdkantoor in Capelle aan den IJssel en ons Shared Service Center in Westerhoven. Recipe: Salted Caramel and Chocolate Fondue (with Marshmallow Krispie Hearts)

This is definitely one you can make with the kids, and they will love any leftover Krispie cakes for snacks or lunches. Serve it with plenty of fresh fruit like strawberries and apple slices to help cancel out some of those delicious caramel calories.

 

Tips

• If you have any left over, chill it in the fridge then whisk with a food mixer to make a whipped ganache to pipe or spread onto cakes. Delicious!
• Don’t like caramel? Miss it out and just make this as a chocolate dip.
• The Krispie cakes are so easy and delicious, they make great lunch box snacks.
• Not got a cookie cutter? Just cut your Krispie cakes into squares.

 

Ingredients

 

For the ‘Fondue’ Dip

• 200g Chocolate Chips or Chunks – a mix of plain and milk
• 150ml of Canned (Carnation) Caramel (find it with the condensed milk in the shops)
• 150ml Double Cream
• A sprinkle of sea salt
• Extra caramel for swirling

 

For the Marshmallow Hearts

• 170g Pink Marshmallows (use the white ones for dipping)
• 25g Butter
• 100g Rice Krispies
• Optional – dash of red food colouring

 

To Dip

Fruit, cake chunks, pretzels, marshmallows, marshmallow hearts!

 

 Dip Prep

1. To make the dip, gently heat the chocolate, cream and caramel until just melted.
2. Add a sprinkle of salt and stir well until smooth.
3. Serve immediately, or rewarm in the microwave on medium in 10-20 second bursts.
4. Swirl in a bit of extra caramel and a sprinkle of salt crystals before serving.

 

Making the hearts

1. Add the butter and marshmallows to a non-stick pan and melt slowly, stirring regularly until smooth.
2. Add a dash of food colouring if you want them extra pink.
3. Remove from the heat and quickly add in the rice Krispies, stirring well.
4. Tip immediately into a loose-bottomed, or lined baking pan around 8”/20cm square.
5. Press down with a spoon or press lightly with your fingers.
6. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours
7. Remove from the tin and cut hearts from the krispie cakes with a heart shaped cookie cutter, or just cut into squares.
8. Spike with a skewer for dipping.

Recipe: Biscuits for your Valentine

They are a simple, shortbread biscuit, but made prettier and sweeter by the addition of jammy hearts, perfect for the Jammy Dodger lover in your life. There is the bonus of the tiny heart-shaped cut-outs that you can eat fresh from the oven. No one will ever know!

Ingredients

150g cubes of very soft butter
70g icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 medium egg
250g plain flour
50g ground almonds
Raspberry seedless jam
Icing sugar and flour for dusting
A 6cm cookie cutter and a heart shaped cutter

Method

1. Put the butter, sugar and vanilla in a mixer and beat well for 5 minutes*
2. Add the egg and beat for another 2 minutes until light and creamy
3. Add the flour and almonds and mix through until just combined
4. Split the dough into 2 balls and dust with flour
5. Roll out between two sheets of baking paper then place in the fridge for 30 minutes
6. Take your cool dough and cut into circles with a cookie cutter
7. Cut hearts out of half of your circles, balling up and re-rolling any spare dough
8. Preheat the oven to 170ºC
9. Place your cookies on baking sheets on baking paper
10. Bake for around 10 minutes until just turning golden on the edges
11. Cook on a wire rack and dust with a little icing sugar
12. Spread the round cookies with a teaspoon of jam and place a heart cookie on top

*Tip My top tip for a frosty February: If your butter and sugar are not mixing smoothly, or if your egg won’t beat in nicely, aim a hairdryer at the outside of the mixer bowl to warm it slightly. (I had to do this as my metal mixing bowl was cold and chilled the butter and stopped it creaming properly) The mix will soften up and go light and creamy in no time. Don’t heat for too long though or you will get scrambled egg!

Center Parcs overvol door lerarenstaking, uren wachten op je eten

Overvol park, tsjokvolle restaurants, te weinig personeel en uren wachten op je eten: het zit de bezoekers van Center Parcs de Kempervennen in Noord-Brabant dit weekend niet mee. De boosdoener is de lerarenstaking. "Het is een grote puinhoop."

Paula van Dalen dacht ontspannen een midweekje weg te gaan naar Center Parcs De Kempervennen, maar dat verliep iets anders. "Het personeel zei dat er onverwacht extreem was bijgeboekt vanwege die lerarenstaking."

Dat merkte ze pas echt toen ze gisteravond een hapje wilde eten. Het restaurant bleek gesloten. "We kozen er toen voor om in het grand café te eten. Daar was de wachttijd drie kwartier, zeiden ze toen we aankwamen. Daar heb je dan vrede mee, maar het duurde uiteindelijk veel langer: twee uur! Iedereen zat te wachten en te mopperen."

'Een grote puinhoop'
Van Dalen: "We komen hier sinds 2011. Dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt. Het was een grote puinhoop. De tafels waren niet afgeruimd, de bestellingen niet goed. Uitzendkrachten liepen de benen uit het lijf."
