New woodcraft workshops and obstacle courses have come to Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest. The holiday village in Nottinghamshire has introduced two new family-friendly activities for guests to participate in during their stay.
This includes the 'TAG Challenge Arena' - a room full of obstacles in which players are armed with a wristband and attempt to finish the course within a certain timeframe. The game has both easy-to-reach and difficult obstacles aimed at families with ranging abilities.
There is also a new woodcraft workshop where guests are invited to choose a piece of handmade wood and turn it into wall art. Lee Carpenter, director of leisure, said: "We’re always looking to innovate and evolve the activities and experiences across our villages, where possible, and there was a huge opportunity to bring the latest innovations and technologies to Center Parcs – starting with Sherwood Forest and Woburn Forest.
