A number of people have been treated for injuries after riding a damaged water slide at Center Parcs. The Wild Water Rapids had reportedly “sustained some damage” leading to the incident at the Sherwood Forest site, in Nottingham. The rapids in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise area were shut down for an investigation after on-site medics treated a “small number” of people for injuries.
It is understood the popular water attraction was re-opened on Tuesday (23 December) to guests after a thorough check. A spokesperson said: “A small section of the Wild Water Rapids at Sherwood Forest sustained some damage yesterday and was closed as a precaution, following further investigation.
