Private equity firm Blackstone Group LP (BX: News ) has started discussions with investors over a planned sale of about 75% stake in Center Parcs property portfolio for up to GBP 1.4 billion, the Financial Times said.
The report said that the private equity real estate fund manager last week received approval from the holders of the bonds that backed the portfolio acquisition to extend the debt by a further two years until 2013, which has given it time to work on the proposals.
