Guests with serious allergies are urged to consider carefully' before ordering at the holiday sites
Popular UK holiday company Center Parcs has issued an important update on food prepared at its sites.
The company said it uses ingredients containing allergens as part of the preparation of food in all of its eateries across the country and in Ireland.
And bosses have told guests it is not possible to guarantee that any product is 100 percent free from any allergen due to a risk of cross-contamination in the kitchens.
Guests with serious allergies are urged to "consider carefully" before ordering at the holiday sites.
In a statement, Center Parcs added: "We use ingredients containing allergens as part of the preparation of food in all of our eateries. We also cook different foods with the same equipment.
"It is not possible to guarantee that any product is 100% free from any allergen due to the risk of cross-contamination in our kitchens.
"Intended allergen ingredient information for all items on our menu is available on our portal.
"We cannot make changes to our menu items and currently do not provide details of any ‘may contain’ allergen statements.
