Center Parcs is celebrating after winning the Silver award for Best Brand Marketing Campaign at the MIMA awards last Friday (17th November). Held at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel in London as part of the EVCOM Industry Awards, the MIMAs recognise marketing achievements in the meetings and events industry.
Center Parcs faced stiff competition from fellow finalists including ITA Venues, QHotels, SoolNua and Flanders Meeting + Convention Centre Antwerp, winning the Silver award for its innovative ‘Center Parcs Contest’ campaign which saw 600 clients and press completing specially-designed office teambuilding challenges to win a weekend stay at Center Parcs.
Judges were impressed by the success of the campaign, both in terms of widening Center Parcs’ reach and communicating its key objectives surrounding delegate wellbeing, the importance of teambuilding and spending time in the great outdoors.
Commenting on the award, Liz Pilling, Corporate Events Commercial Manager at Center Parcs said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised for our ‘Center Parcs Contest’ campaign at this year’s MIMA awards. The campaign was incredibly successful particularly in terms of generating interest in Center Parcs as a corporate events destination and teambuilding provider, while encouraging companies to understand and engage with our core focus. The campaign not only generated interaction and conversation on social media, but directly influenced a significant number of showrounds, enquiries and confirmed bookings.”
