1 Craft beers have the best names
Exhibits A through D: Brewdog Elvis Juice, By the Horns Stiff Upper Lip Pale, Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA, Curious Brew. They’re all intriguing and they’re all on our new drinks menu.
2 Brunch has never been bigger
Whether you choose the avocado toast (tip: call it ‘avo toast’ for maximum hipster points), the ham hock hash or the yoghurt-granola parfait, the real question is: can you still have lunch afterwards as well? (Answer: yes)
3 ATTENTION: there’s a chips-and-crisps-cheese-melt
There’s also a trendy Mac ‘n’ Cheese Melt and a refined Avocado, Halloumi and Harissa Pesto Melt. But we are all about the Chips and Salt and Vinegar Crisps Melt.
4 Perfect for #Veganuary
Whether you’re vegan at New Year or all year, there’s plenty to choose from. Mushroom, Tomato and Falafel Sandwich with Houmous; Avocado and Tomato on Toast; Handing Vegetable Skewer with Roast Potatoes…
5 Something for the little ones
We’re evolved our children’s food to offer everything for the fussiest eaters to the littlest gourmets. There’s vegetable lasagne, crunchy crudités, salmon fish fingers and the classic jelly and ice cream (actually, can we order that one?)
6 It’s Tea-off Time
We’ve brought in the big guns for our tea menu: after training from Twinings and The London School of Tea, we’re offering a range of exotic, artisanal teas. The Nutty Chocolate Assam tastes like your favourite chocolate spread in a cup.
7 Go (Middle) East
The new Middle Eastern flatbreads are stone-baked and topped with grilled spring onion, shredded fennel and carrot, pomegranate seeds, houmous and rocket with a creamy garlic sauce. And they come in three flavours: Rotisserie Chicken, Middle Eastern Pulled Lamb and Grilled Halloumi with Mediterranean Vegetables.
8 Share more, eat more
With our new small plates section, you can order a selection of tasty treats, tapas-style, to share. Or not, it’s up to you. Choose from: Boneless Chicken Thighs; Crispy Spiced Chicken Wings; Sticky Pork Ribs; Pumpkin, Goat’s Cheese and Kale Croquettes; Crispy Nacho Bites, and Crispy Calamari.
9 Where’s the wheat?
Our gluten-free offering is super important to us, so instead of just dodging bread products, we’ve sourced the very best substitutes for sandwiches, soups, toast, burger buns, cake and even beer-batter!
10 Two spoons, please!
The new Ultimate Chocolate Sundae to Share is the romantic dessert of your dreams. Layers of chocolate and caramel ice cream, marshmallows, crushed Flake and Maltesers, topped with whipped cream and finished with chocolate and toffee sauce.
11 Got milk? (No.)
For dairy- lactose-free guests, there’s plenty to choose from, including cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, steaks, rotisserie chicken and delicious chargrilled skewers.
