Head of Center Parcs hopeful weather won’t delay the projects opening time

The head of Center Parcs is hopeful weather won't delay the project's scheduled summertime opening this year.

Meteorologists have warned that Ireland could yet experience a weather system similar to Storm Emma, which dumped inches of snow across most of Ireland almost a year ago.

Construction of the multi-million Longford Forest is entering its final six months in Longford, with up to 800 people working on the site earlier this week to ensure it will open as scheduled this summer.

Speaking to Shannonside FM Northern Sound Center Parcs CEO Martin Dalby said they would hope to avoid the worst of the weather this spring if possible:
